Due to the digital nature of Homeschool Reports, we can only offer a refund if requested within 24 hours after signup or renewal. When you sign up, you are agreeing to these terms and auto-renewal.

Yes, and it’s quick and easy! Simply visit your My Dashboard and change the school year date. You can always go back to a previous year, current year, or future year to create reports. Even if you switch back and forth, you will not lose the reports you have created.

Creating homeschool attendance records and reports on Homeschool Reports is quick and easy. Simply login, visit My Dashboard, select the School Year dates, click on the student profile, then go to the Attendance tab. On the Attendance tab, you can view and edit your child’s attendance for the year by clicking the days to select or deselect. You can also click the Select All and it automatically selects Monday-Friday for the entire school year.

Creating homeschool report cards is quick and easy with Homeschool Reports! Simply visit My Dashboard, click on your student profile, click the Report Cards tab, and Create a New Report Card. Then, in the Edit screen, add Subjects, Grades, and any additional notes about your child’s progress and click Save. Then, you can download and print your finished homeschool report card.

No. Homeschool Reports produces parent-issued records, presented professionally. Transcripts are built for college applications, but no service can promise how an individual college will treat them.

Accreditation applies to schools, not to documents — there is no body in the U.S. that reviews or stamps a transcript. Most homeschool families never need it. If you do, here is what accreditation actually means and when it matters.

The way a college registrar does. Each letter grade converts to grade points on a 4.0 scale, those points are multiplied by the course’s credit value, and the total is divided by total credits attempted. A one-credit course therefore counts twice as much as a half-credit course, which is what a receiving school expects.

Your transcript shows both an unweighted and a weighted GPA. The weighted figure adds 0.5 grade points for Honors courses and 1.0 for Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and college-level courses. A failing grade receives no addition. The full grading scale prints on the transcript so anyone reading it can reproduce your numbers.

One credit usually represents a full academic year in a subject. Georgia’s public school rule defines it as at least 150 clock hours of instruction; the widely used Carnegie unit is 120 hours; lab sciences are commonly 180 hours because of lab time. Elective courses often run 120 hours. Half a credit is half of whichever figure you use.

Your transcript prints the definition you chose, so a college can convert your credits to theirs. Most students graduate with somewhere between 20 and 26 credits.

It is uncommon at colleges and more common when transferring back into a public or private high school, where credit acceptance is set district by district and a student may be re-tested or re-placed.

If a college raises it, the usual fix is more documentation, not different documentation: course descriptions, a reading list, standardized test scores, and transcripts from any dual-enrollment or outside courses. If a specific program genuinely requires an accredited credential, enrolling in an accredited umbrella school is the path — we explain the options here.

Not accreditation — the NCAA does not preapprove homeschool programs or curricula. It evaluates the documents themselves: a transcript showing full name and home address, ninth-grade start date, course titles, grades, credits, the grading scale, the academic year of each course, and the graduation date, all signed by the homeschool administrator; a signed Administrator and Accordance Statement; a Core-Course Worksheet for each core course; and proof of graduation with an exact date. Standardized test scores are no longer part of initial eligibility.

An umbrella school is a private school that enrolls homeschooled students, keeps their official records, and issues the transcript and diploma. Some are accredited, some are not, and requirements vary widely. Most families do not use one. The main reasons to consider it are wanting an accredited credential, or a state whose law makes enrolling simpler than filing independently.

You have full control over deleting your data:

1. To delete a single student and all of their records, log in, go to My Dashboard, open the student profile, and click Delete. When you confirm, that student and all of their records are permanently deleted.
2. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us with a request to delete all data associated with your email address, and we’ll remove your account and everything in it.

Please note that deleted data cannot be recovered, so be sure to download or print anything you’d like to keep first.

Your saved reports are kept for 6 months from the day your subscription ends. We email you 7 days before, and for those 7 days we unlock downloads for every one of your students so you can save them.

Upgrade again within those 6 months and nothing is deleted.

Saved reports are different. On a free account they are cleared every 6 months — the clock starts the day your free account begins and repeats for as long as you stay on the free plan. We email you 7 days before each clear date. Free downloads cover one student and carry a PREVIEW watermark.

Any paid plan keeps every report, removes the watermark and unlocks all of your students.

Nothing is removed the day you downgrade. Every student, report and attendance record stays, and everything stays editable.

From then on, downloads cover one student and carry a PREVIEW watermark, and your saved reports are cleared every 6 months, starting from the day you downgrade. We email you 7 days before each clear date and unlock downloads for all of your students for those 7 days.

Upgrade again at any time and the clock is removed — nothing is deleted.

Archiving hides a student from your active dashboard but keeps all of their records safe — you can reactivate them anytime and everything will be right where you left it. Deleting permanently removes the student and all of their records and cannot be undone.
